21st Century Skills--our present and future as we know it--is a world of knowledge-based project management. The Common Core State Standards have been written to empower teachers with the flexibility to match the turn-on-a-dime world changes that are happening at warp speed. CCSS are outcomes-based. They do not dictate how to deliver instruction, but rather provide pacing and identification of what students should be able to do by the end of each grade level. Integration will enable you to incorporate multiple standards concurrently. We are now charged as well as given permission to use and continually develop our expertise to draw upon multiple resources and methods of delivery. As we continue to grow in our ability to collaborate as professionals, we can, in turn, encourage the natural curiosity of tomorrow's world citizens--teaching them skills and disciplines for self-direction and collaboration. On this page you will find a collection of powerful resources from the very brink of "The Core." They will help you gain a perspective on our shifting paradigm of learning.
